The Velcro fastener & back part
Open the Velcro fastener and unfold the back panel. Adjust the back straps on the stabilizing aluminum frame to the correct size for your child by moving the black arrow. Remove the instruction card and fasten the back straps.

The hip belt
Make sure the hip belt is in the correct position, directly above your hips. Fasten the hip belt and tighten it until it fits comfortably.

The height-adjustable chest strap
The height-adjustable sternum strap helps stabilize the backpack and, together with the hip belt, relieves pressure on the shoulder joints. This keeps the shoulder straps in an optimal position. The sternum strap can be adjusted in both height and length.

The back straps
Tighten the back straps so that the backpack stays firmly in place and sits high on your back.
